1. SOLUTION FOCUSED HYPNOTHERAPY
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a type of hypnotherapy that has a distinct approach to the treatment of psychological issues.
It combines the use of hypnosis with some modern psychotherapeutic principles to create change.
WHICH CONDITIONS ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP ME WITH?
Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy can help with the following conditions:

Stress
Depression
Persistent/Chronic Pain
Fears and Phobias
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Blushing
Unwanted habits
Migraines
Self Esteem
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Sexual problems
Skin complaints
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
The first session will be an initial consultation (IC) meeting.
This will allow us to get know each other and to establish what it is you wish to achieve through hypnotherapy.
The IC normally lasts between 50 minutes and an hour. Whilst we do not do any hypnosis during the IC it gives me the opportunity to explain how I work, and also what treatment is the most appropriate for you. The IC sets the foundations for ongoing therapy and I will give you a number of explanations which you will find enormously beneficial. I will also give you an approximate indication of the number of sessions required.
I will send you a downloadable audio recording to use before your first hypnosis session.
CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTISED?

Anyone and everyone can be hypnotised as long as they have a desire to be. However, if you do not want to be hypnotised or actively resist you will not be.
A good partnership between the therapist and the client will greatly enhance the experience.

2. AESTHETICS ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS AND DERMAL FILLER THERAPY
it is a treatment using an injectable muscle relaxer which temporarily paralyses the muscles that cause facial wrinkling to give the skin a smoother appearance. It blocks the nerve signals and muscle contractions or the nerve receptors that tell your body it is time to sweat. It is a minimally invasive treatment.
WHAT IS Anti-wrinkle treatment
At El Tossal Wellness we have a fully qualified prescriber who will assess you to ensure we give you the most appropriate treatment. An in depth discussion will be had about the areas that bother you most and need wrinkle reduction. Once you are happy with the treatment plan you will be informed of where the injections will be placed. Several small injections are normally required.
How does the anti-wrinkle treatment procedure work?
How do I know if this treatment is suitable for me?
If the wrinkles appear with facial movement these can normally be resolved with toxin injections. If they are static we may need to consider other treatments.
Here at El Tossal Wellness we only use the most as this is the most premium toxin to ensure the best for results.
What areas can toxin injections treat?
Frown lines, forehead, around the eyes, under the eye, nose, downturned smile, chin dimpling, over sweating (hands and underarms), migraines and more
Do you offer a top-up?
We don’t call your two week appointment a top-up this is a review to see if any areas require any further toxin. If your require more than a standard vial of toxin then there may be an additional charge and this can happen with those with deeper lines/stronger muscles.
Are there any risks?
Swelling, drooping in the eye area, headaches (worse for 2 weeks then normally resolve), neck pain, dry eyes, allergic reactions, brow drops, overly raised brows or failure for treatment to work.
How long does it last and when will I see results?
It takes 14 days for full results to be seen. After 7 weeks the muscles will start to gain some movement back and usually by 3 to 4 months almost full movement will be back. Some patients do find this lasts longer and some less. We will not retreat before 12 weeks.
Are there any contraindications?
Neuromuscular conditions, those already on muscle relaxants and antibody treatment, pregnancy or breastfeeding, any infection or inflammation at the sites and bleeding disorders. This list is not exhaustive.

What are dermal fillers?
A filler treatment is used to minimise the appearance of facial line and wrinkles to restore a more youthful look. It is a great alternative to surgical options such as a face lift for those who do not wish to go under the knife. It can be used to restore volume to areas or help with fat pad loss.

Are filler results permanent?

Unfortunately the hyaluronic acid fillers used are not permanent but many find they can last 18 months to 3 years. They can be dissolved if required.
Are there any contraindications for filler treatment?
If you are taking blood thinners, vitamin E or anti inflammatory medication (unless you can stop this temporarily before and after treatment safely). If you have recurrent cold sores we may need to give some treatment in case of a flare up for our lip treatments. Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding is not able to be treated.
Is there any aftercare?
Avoid any heat inducing activity for 48 hours no strenuous exercise for 48 hours avoid touching the area/keep it clean and no makeup or cosmetics until injection sites are closed over avoid any other facial treatments for 2 weeks
Are there any risks with dermal fillers?
Swelling, redness some discomfort following treatment these are the more common side effects. There is a risk of infection however with proper aftercare this is minimised. Bleeding can occur and is normally minimal, please ensure no alcohol, blood thinners or anti-inflammatory medication before treatment. Also not too much caffeine please as this can increase the risk of bleeding. Allergic reactions are rare, should this happen an emergency kit is on site. If you experience any hives or swelling you will be prescribed treatment and monitored closely. complications are rare with proper injection technique but can also happen please let us know and we can resolve this. A very rare complication is a vascular occlusion where a vessel is blocked and can lead to blindness or skin necrosis if not dealt with quickly.
1. HOLISTIC MASSAGE THERAPIES
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST TREATMENT?
Your massage therapist will require you to fill out a health history form. Afterward the therapist will begin by asking you general questions to establish what areas you would like worked on, if there are any conditions needing to be addressed, and to determine if massage is appropriate for you.
Your massage therapist may perform certain assessments and testing to evaluate your condition and to see if you have any presenting complaints.
It is important to list all health concerns and medications so the therapist can adapt the session to your specific needs without doing any harm. It is also important to list any allergies so the therapist is aware if they needs to use a different oil or lotion during the session.
DO I HAVE TO BE COMPLETELY UNDRESSED?
You should undress to the level you are comfortable.
For a full body massage, most get completely undressed. However, if you will be more comfortable during the session if you leave your underwear on, that's absolutely fine. The therapist will work around the clothes you left on as best as he/she can. If removing all your clothes makes you too nervous and unable to relax, then you are not getting the optimal benefit from the session.
Your massage therapist should give you privacy to undress and get comfortable on the table. The genitals (women and men) and breasts (women) will not be uncovered. If the therapist is going to work on a woman's abdomen, a second towel or sheet will be used to cover the breasts so the main sheet or towel can be moved to expose the abdomen.

WHAT DO I DO DURING A MASSAGE TREATMENT?
Make yourself comfortable. If your therapist wants you to adjust your position, they will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable.
Many people close their eyes and relax completely during a session; others prefer to talk. It's up to you; it is your massage and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax.
Please do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.
HOW LONG WILL A MASSAGE TREATMENT LAST?
The average full-body massage treatment lasts approximately one hour. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial massage session, such as neck and shoulders, back or legs and feet.
Many people prefer a 60 to 90 minute session for optimal relaxation.
Always allow relaxation time prior to and after the session.
WILL THE MASSAGE HURT?
Generally a massage will not hurt; it will always promote a feeling of deep relaxation and will melt away most aches and pains which some people describe as "it hurts, but in a good way".
You should always inform your therapist if you experience pain and they will explore this with you to relieve any discomfort they can.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A MASSAGE?
It varies from person to person. If you are just looking for some occasional relaxation, then a session every 3-6 weeks may be fine for you.
However, if you are looking to address a specific condition, then it is recommended to go more frequently at first and then slowly taper down to a maintenance schedule. Sometimes more frequent 30-minute sessions can be effective until your goals are met and a maintenance schedule is in place.
Frequency of sessions should be discussed with your massage therapist after your treatment when he/she has a better hands-on understanding of your particular muscular issues.
CAN I TALK AND ASK QUESTIONS DURING MY SESSION?
The primary purpose of the massage therapy session is relaxation and most people refer to listen to the background music (or the silence) and just drift away during the session.
However, it is important that you ask any questions and let the therapist know what you want from the therapy session.
